Inspired by Haida artists: Bill Reid and Charles Edenshaw.

Grade 5 students will be choosing 2 or 3 animals from the 8 animals that are listed as "endangered species" in the NW area of Canada's Pacific Coast.
Students looked at different images to learn the shapes and proportions of these animals in preparation for your sculptural plaque design.

Students explored species that are from the West Coast of Canada: Meet the 8 endangered species that call northwest B.C. home.

On canvas boards students design a sculpture. Students used tools (such as paper clips) to add details.
